It was filing day for state candidates once  again, and there???s some promising news to be had. First off, Strickland edged out Kasich with $1.4 million to $1.28 million. Sure that may not seem like huge margin, but Plunderbund points out Kasich received significant help from Citizens United and the Summit County Republican Party. In the Treasurer???s race, Mandel really underperformed. This cuts Boyce some slack, but that have got to pick it up if they want to compete.
